At CANADA INC., we are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across the country. Your primary duties will include operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections. You will also be responsible for addressing customers' complaints or concerns, professionalism in customer service, and arranging travel, related itineraries, and making reservations. Additionally, you will be required to load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide professionalism in customer service
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Load and unload goods

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
