The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels of medications and supplies.
  • Assist patients in locating over-the-counter products and provide basic medication information.
  • Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

Requirements
  • Completion of a pharmacy technician program from an accredited institution.
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT or equivalent) preferred.
