Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Steward to support our enterprise data product owners in Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, quality, and governance across our finance data analytics domain.

This role will involve partnering with Data Product Owners to manage and govern the portfolio of finance data products, executing data strategies, and conducting regular data quality checks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data governance, data quality management, and data reconciliation processes.

We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. If you have a strong background in finance, data, and systems, and are passionate about data governance, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Data Product Owners to manage and govern the portfolio of finance data products
  • Assist in executing data strategies, ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives
  • Conduct regular data quality checks, addressing discrepancies and taking corrective actions where necessary
  • Uphold data governance policies and ensure adherence to organizational standards across all finance data products
  • Serve as the go-to resource for users of the finance data products, resolving queries and troubleshooting data-related issues
  • Work closely with data owners, data engineers, data scientists, and business users to resolve data-related challenges
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in finance or working with financial processes, data, and systems
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, including cost management, budgeting, planning, and forecasting
  • Expertise in data governance, data quality management, and data reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with digital system landscapes and the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Strong collaborative skills, working alongside technical, finance, and business users to achieve shared goals
  • Experience in maintaining comprehensive data documentation and providing user training
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, ensuring that user needs are met and exceeded
