Job Title: Welder Specialist

PermaCorp Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder Specialist to work in our industrial setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and determine weldability of materials.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and Plasma Arc Welding (PAW).
  • Strong understanding of material properties and welding processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
