Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to join our team. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties and responsibilities as required on the specified aircraft.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations as per company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Valid Commercial Pilot License and Airline Transport Pilot License or IATRA exams written.
  • Hold a PPC (Pilot Proficiency Check) and maintain currency for an airplane in the responsible aircraft grouping.
  • 1,000 hours Total Time.
  • 100 hours PIC.
  • 500 hours Multi-engine.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with time on type.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Good decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest's Safety Management System manual.
