Job Title: Regulatory Remediation Oversight Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Remediation Oversight Lead to join our Data Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of multiple reporting mechanisms in support of key technology initiatives and regulatory remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and oversee the delivery of regulatory response remediation and execution efforts across ISG Data Engineering team
  • Support analysis of data primarily in Excel and PowerPoint to develop various reporting views to communicate progress, achievements, issues, narrative, and provide key insight to execution and business partners
  • Provide Oversight for ISG Data Engineering Tech activities in data centric regulatory and ensure that these are executed in line with regulatory expectations and ability to provide effective challenge
  • Own the day-to-day development and execution of bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of analysis/metrics that are generated. Support ad hoc and time sensitive requests on additional details requiring data analysis

Key Qualifications:

  • Regulatory Program Management: An understanding of large regulatory change management programs and program and project planning, and how they enable the timely delivery of regulatory remediation and business objectives. Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle and required testing for systems integration projects is desirable. Insight into key performance metrics to measure both delivery progress and business benefit realization
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of the Risk and Controls, Issue and Cap Management, risk identification, escalation and mitigation including the application of compensating controls
  • Stakeholder Management: Identifying and partnering with stakeholders and key organizations to build and manage relationships at all level and meet the programme commitments
  • Communications Management: Continual interaction is required with peers and senior leadership in businesses, Operations and Technology teams as well as Finance, Risk, the Chief Data Office, Compliance, and Internal Audit on a global level. Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
  • Financial Services and Regulatory Background Knowledge: Previous experience in banking and finance, and knowledge of Regulatory Reporting. Knowledge of key regulatory entities e.g., Client Board, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Prudential Regulation Authority and any other relevant regulatory bodies will be an advantage

Additional Qualifications:

  • 12+ years experience in financial services, audit, management consulting, or technology
  • Expert in Excel and data manipulations. Highly proficient in PowerPoint including creating insightful charts
  • Expert in working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights
  • Expert in independently working with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and bringing those requirements to life ensuring timely delivery
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization and function effectively through ambiguity
  • Attention to detail and able to keep track of changing requirements is a must
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate complex work efforts across multiple groups and lines of business
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of seniority, independently
  • Strong skills in delivering successful outcomes based on ambiguous data and high-level directions

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
