Dental Hygienist Position

Located in the heart of Whitecourt, our dental clinic has been providing exceptional oral care services to our community for over two decades. Our team of highly skilled dentists is dedicated to delivering a broad range of services, including general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative treatments.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy practice on a 12 month maternity leave coverage basis. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals and contribute to the ongoing oral health of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing and topical fluoride applications
- Serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counselling patients
- Establish and maintain strong patient relationships through tailored experiences and excellent communication
- Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing
- Valid CPR certification
