Teaching Opportunity at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

We are seeking a part-time English and Math teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Burquitlam. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students, teaching up to three students at a time at different levels, and following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English and Math to students of various skill levels
  • Following pre-planned lessons and adapting to individual student needs
  • Providing guidance and support to students in a friendly and professional manner
  • Filling in post-lesson notes and completing daily student communication updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
