F16 Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team as a Master Craftsman - Wood Fabrication Specialist.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with a strong background in wood fabrication and construction to work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the trade and be proficient in reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Built foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
