Salary and Benefits

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor of Child, Youth and Family Development to oversee the delivery of high-quality educational child care for children aged 0-12 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall health, safety, and well-being of the children, as well as managing staff and volunteers to ensure compliance with mandatory certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of safe, high-quality educational child care
- Ensure adherence to the YMCA's policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as all legislative requirements
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers, and schedule training events to ensure compliance with mandatory certifications
- Develop and implement site plans to ensure 90% site capacity at all times
Requirements
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a child and/or youth setting
- Membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) in good standing
- Current copy of Immunization Record, clear TB Test, and medical note confirming fitness with CCEYA
- Valid G class driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Current and satisfactory Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
