Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at MV Castillo Painting Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including preparation of production reports and scheduling of activities.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit and hire workers, manage staffing actions, and train or arrange for training.
  • Estimate costs and materials, prepare bids, and manage company operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, recommend personnel actions, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, requisition materials and supplies, and coordinate with other departments.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors, in a noisy environment, and to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Reliable, organized, and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
