Java Full Stack Developer Position

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada NTT DATA, Inc. Full time

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing software applications that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop high-quality, timely, cost-effective and maintainable software solutions using Java and Spring/Spring Boot technologies.
  2. Provide technical guidance to the team and help to improve engineering, architectural and coding standards.
  3. Collaborate with the product owner, peer technical leads and architects to deliver on shared goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of software application design and development experience.
  • 6+ years of Java/JEE experience.
Desirable Skills:
  • Cloud (Azure/AWS) experience.
  • Angular and RESTful Services expertise.
  • Microservices architecture understanding.
