Civil Structural Architectural Manager (Industrial & Infrastructure)

Ausenco is seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Architectural Manager to join our Industrial and Infrastructure Division in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations for industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Perform site visits and inspect existing structures, evaluating and analyzing them for modifications and additions, and proposing reinforcement solutions.
  • Supervise the work of designers in the project team.
  • Liaise with client representatives and general contractors directly.
  • Manage small projects primarily led by structural scope, and occasionally manage multi-discipline projects primarily led by structural scope.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering from a recognized University.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the design of industrial and/or institutional type buildings.
  • Proven experience and confidence in structural design and certification of various building types and heights, including lateral load analysis.
  • Proficiency in design of steel structures, reinforced concrete structures, and heavy concrete foundations for buildings and equipment.
  • Capable of solving more complex building structures and dynamic foundations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in structural engineering design software, including AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and Plant 3D.
  • Architectural design experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products to prepare reports, specifications, presentations, and estimates.
