Early Childhood Educator/Assistant Opportunity

BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator/Assistant to join our team at Montessori Windsor, ON. As a casual employee, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a nurturing environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with instruction in the classroom, promoting a love of learning and exploration.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the well-being of children.
  • Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities, fostering social and emotional growth.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families, promoting open communication.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized classroom, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Requirements:
  • High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification, or Registered Early Childhood Educator.
  • Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment as per local Minister of Health Requirements.
  • Experience in planning and implementing programs.
