Cashier Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at T's Cannabis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Suggestive selling and promoting products to customers
  • Assist with opening and closing store procedures, including counting tills and balancing the cash register

Requirements

  • Experience in a retail or customer service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions

  • Regularly works in a retail store environment, exposed to various products and materials
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
