Job Title: Registered Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Colwell Nursery School & Kindergarten.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the well-being and growth of children.
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, and volunteers to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain a healthy and safe environment for children.
  • Organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in early childhood education.
