Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Alberta Ltd o/a Prime Time Donair & Poutine. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Delivery: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, reliability, and ability to work in a permanent role.
