Retail Store Operations Manager

Showcase, a national retailer with 150 bricks-and-mortar stores in top malls throughout Canada and the USA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our retail store in Guilford Town Centre.
As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for helping to manage day-to-day store operations, achieving sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. You will report directly to the Store Manager and work closely with them to achieve sales goals and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Create a positive and engaging environment for customers and associates
- Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales, including social media and community outreach programs
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase our products effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the Store and District Manager to manage inventory
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in the health, beauty, home, toys, tech, or food industry is a plus
Salary Range: $18-$20 per hour
