Job Description:

The Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join the Kunin-Lunenfeld Centre for Applied Research and Evaluation (KL-CARE). As a member of the KL-CARE team, you will be responsible for assisting with statistical design, data cleaning and management, conducting quantitative analyses, analyzing data to develop reports, graphs, and publications, and providing support and consultation to KL-CARE clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in statistical analysis. Experience in statistical consulting is an asset. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing input into database design for appropriate data entry and storage.
  • Responsible for data management, including extracting data from various data sources, preparing data for analyses, and deriving additional measures to be used for analysis.
  • Completing quantitative analyses and providing synthesized research results, charts, and graphs for operational and research reports, publications, and scientific manuscripts.


Required Qualifications:
  • At least a Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a recognized equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in statistical analysis, with experience in statistical consulting being an asset.
