Snow Plow Operator

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team at Miller Paving Limited, a subsidiary of Colas Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a combo plow unit to perform snow removal on local roads and highways.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a combo plow unit to clear snow and ice from roads and highways
- Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Familiarize yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
- Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events
- DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
- Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Previous experience in winter-works operations
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements
