Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive immediate revenue growth and build a high-performing sales team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with customers, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and developing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the expedited logistics business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the expedited logistics business.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
- Represent T.E Smith Transport & Logistics at industry events and trade shows to promote our services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
