Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and highly punctual Security Guard to join our team at Armour Security & Protection Services Corp. in Nanaimo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned job sites to ensure safety and security.
  • Identify, monitor, and report security threats and incidents.
  • Respond promptly to fire alarms, threats, and emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada and Provincial Statutes.
  • Use our E-Armour Software App to file daily reports and incident reports.
  • Scan patrol checkpoints using E-Armour Software.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Ability to follow conduct rules and take leadership roles when required.
  • Reliable and highly punctual.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience.
  • Basic Security Training (BST) license.
