Maxillofacial Surgeon

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join its team at the Comox Valley Hospital. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new bed acute care facility, serving a referral population of 70,000.

This role will provide surgical services to patients, including but not limited to extractions, biopsies, and reconstructive procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

• FRCDc certification or equivalent
• Completed a minimum 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Eligible for Certified Specialist licensure with the College of Physicians of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $250,000-$350,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
