Job Title: Liquor Store Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Whitemud Crossing Liquor Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure a smooth workflow
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of the store
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
- Order merchandise and maintain a well-stocked inventory
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a high level of productivity
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Working Conditions:
- Work setting: Retail business
- Supervision: 3-4 people
- Personal suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
