About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Sushi Hon. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as planning menus and estimating food requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Cook and prepare complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a safe and efficient work environment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring seamless kitchen operations
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
