About the Role:

At Bar Kat Insulation Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing thermal protection systems in various locations. Your primary duties will include selecting the appropriate insulation type, measuring and cutting materials to required dimensions, and applying insulation using various methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting the correct insulation type for the job
  • Measuring and cutting insulation materials to required dimensions
  • Applying insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other methods
  • Fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Installing vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Brushing waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
