Kitchen Designer

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Designer to join our team at Aura Kitchens and Cabinetry Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet clients' needs and preferences.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to inform design decisions.
- Advise clients on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, ensuring compliance with ergonomic and occupational health standards.
- Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and the purpose of the space.
- Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
- Develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Provincial or territorial Interior Design Certification.
- Interior designer technical certificate.
- Proficiency in design software, including 20/20 design, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SketchUp.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
- Client-focused and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
