About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial group of anesthesiologists who value work-life balance.

Valley Regional Hospital is a 137-bed facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care to approximately 80,000 residents. Our hospital offers a full range of services, including surgical services, internal medicine, intensive care, emergency medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, radiology, and psychiatry.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthesiology care to patients in a variety of settings, including operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency departments.
  • Participate in call shifts and provide support to the Western Zone as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in anesthesiology.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
