We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer II to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to the creation of innovative software products and supporting systems.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain software modules and sub-systems, utilizing best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products, ensuring high-quality results.
- Stay up-to-date with marketing requirements, including target environments, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2 years of experience or a Master's degree.
- Working experience with unstructured mesh generation algorithms, CAD systems, and CAD topology and geometry basics.
- Technical knowledge and experience with C++, object-oriented design concepts, and GUI toolkits such as OpenGL, QT, or MFC.
- Experience in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
