We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial controller assistant to join our finance team at the Amsterdam Brewing Co.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing setting, and be proficient in ERP systems such as Sage300. Experience with IFRS & ASPE reporting is an asset.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including inventory management and cost control.
- Preparing regular financial reports and analyses to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Developing and maintaining Bills of Material for all inventory items.
- Working closely with production personnel to develop cost reduction strategies through waste reduction and effective supplier management.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Working with Department Managers to develop effective account analysis to track spending patterns, which will provide effective information for cost control and budget development.
- Using material costing and labour analysis, work with Head of Finance & Financial Controller to develop reasonable budgets and forecasts of Prime Costs (Material & Labour) and department spend.
