Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Handyman to join our team at DC Staffing Solutions in Thornhill, ON. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for conducting pre- and post-PDI inspections, patching holes and cracks, sanding surfaces, applying paint, and performing minor trim carpentry repairs and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre- and post-PDI inspections to identify and address repair needs.
  • Patch holes, cracks, and imperfections in walls and surfaces.
  • Sand surfaces for a smooth finish before painting or finishing.
  • Apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces with even coverage.
  • Seal gaps and joints with caulk to prevent water damage.
  • Perform minor trim carpentry repairs and installations.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing and electrical work.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding job progress and concerns.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience as a Handyman or in a related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
