Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dining Room Attendant. This role involves ensuring that our customers have a positive experience at Subway by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing dining areas for service, including setting tables and replenishing condiments and supplies;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment;
  • Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware;
  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment;
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas;
  • Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit for preparation;

Responsibilities

In addition to the tasks outlined above, the Dining Room Attendant will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation;
  • Maintaining accurate records of food usage and inventory levels;
  • Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained;
  • Responding promptly to customer requests and resolving any issues that may arise;

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods;
  • Reliability and punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts;
