About the Role

HSE Integrated is seeking an experienced Air Technician to join our team for immediate upcoming work/turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with client representatives on day-to-day operations.
  • Provide safety support to client representatives, including any reasonable requests outside normal duties.
  • Maintain vehicles, shacks, and work areas in a clean, tidy, and professional condition.
  • Ensure complete and accurate handover information is provided to relieving Air Technicians.
  • Maintain a mature and professional relationship with all personnel in the work area, including coworkers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Assist managers in providing training to less experienced coworkers.
  • Ensure training competency goals are met as outlined in the 'Training and Competencies' document.
  • Participate and cooperate with HSE Integrated management in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure all pertinent paperwork is completed accurately, neatly, and in a timely manner.
  • Understand the functions and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Report and communicate regularly to Central Dispatch on critical changes necessary that may directly affect dispatch.
  • Maintain a daily journal of all activities directly related to the job.
  • Maintain a light-duty driver's log.
  • Report all deficiencies to senior staff and/or direct supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience working on an industrial job site as an Air Technician.
  • H2S Alive certification.
  • Non-GDL Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license.
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
  • Standard First Aid certification.
  • CSTS certification.
  • Confined Space Entry certification.
  • Fall Protection certification.
  • Ability to work a day/night shift on a non-critical operation.
  • Ability to rig in/rig out gas detection and air trailer, and provide crew training.
  • Conduct H2S drills, man-down drills, and H2S task-specific safety meetings.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance procedures at the field level, gate security, rover, and roadblock duties.
  • Conduct Safety Watch duties as required.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.

Physical Requirements

  • Working at heights or climbing ladders.
  • Working in small or confined spaces.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Working in adverse weather environments (heat/cold) and conditions (rain/wind).
  • Potential shift lengths of 10-12 hours; must be available to work longer if client requirements demand longer shifts or schedule changes.
  • Employee must ensure they are staying hydrated, alert, and always fit for duty.
  • Physical demands of the role include lifting up to 50 kilograms.
  • Driver's abstract required, showing 4 or less infractions in the last three years.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
