Position Overview

G&B Fabrication Inc. is seeking a dedicated Welder-Fitter with extensive experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to interpret complex specifications.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in welding and fitting
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications accurately
  • Operate various welding equipment, including manual and automated systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
  • Examine welds to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Utilize flame-cutting equipment effectively
  • Employ oxygen arc cutting methods as needed
  • Fabricate or repair metal components using established welding machines
Welding Techniques
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
