Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at WALK RITE SHOES STORE. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and achieving sales goals.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, working in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations on merchandise;
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and stock management;
- Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle returns and exchanges;
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and receiving shipments;
- Participate in visual merchandising displays and window presentations;
- Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce;
- Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease;
- Maintain sales records for inventory control;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic;
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Will train.
