We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at Justin Chopra. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • General Assistance: Provide general assistance to household members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, honesty.
