NINA is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team. As a key member of our care network, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services in a loving and safe environment.
About the Role:
- We are looking for an individual with 1-2 years of experience in childcare, preferably with a secondary school graduation certificate.
- You will work a permanent schedule, with approximately 30 hours per week, ensuring a stable and predictable routine for our families.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be highly organized, and possess a strong sense of initiative and judgment.
About the Position:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. You will work directly with parents to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that you provide tailored care that meets their expectations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare services, including bath time, dressing, feeding, and putting children to bed.
- Assist with toilet training, as guided by parents' methods.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment in the home, adhering to non-smoking and scent-free policies.
- Plan and execute activities such as games, outings, and homework assistance, promoting social development and education.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, offering comfort and support when needed.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, utilizing public transportation where possible.
Requirements:
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Reliable transportation (public transportation available)
