Aircraft Inspection Program Specialist Job Description

The Aircraft Inspection Program Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the Company's aircraft maintenance programs meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and maintenance manual revisions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure maintenance requirements are up-to-date in the Company's computerized maintenance tracking system.
  • Validate, create, and maintain aircraft part files in the Company's computerized system.
  • Develop and maintain aircraft inspection programs based on manufacturer, company, and regulatory authorities' requirements.
  • Write, issue, and oversee the proper application of company memos and technical documents.
  • Provide technical support to Technical Services staff and other Company departments to interpret and apply maintenance requirements to the fleet.
  • Other duties as described in MCPM 3.6.13 or assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in aviation maintenance; equivalent experience in a similar position is an asset.
  • Authorization to work in Canada; this position is not available for sponsorship.
  • Strong ability to use various software applications, such as Windows, Airsoft, MS Office suite, etc.
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Ability to read, understand, and write technical documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to manage priorities.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following aircraft types: AS350 Series, AS355 Series, EC120B, BH206 Series, BH407, BH212, BH412, S76 Series, or S61 is an asset.
  • Hold or have held a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License with rotary wing experience (or Canadian military equivalent) is an asset.

Remuneration: Competitive, depending on experience.
