Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective store management.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise and services accordingly.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement price and credits policies.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or a related field preferred.
Work Environment

The Retail Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of 3-4 people. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
