We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Clerk to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bakery department, and ensuring that our customers have an outstanding shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about our bakery products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery department, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and restocking shelves.
  • Ensure that all bakery products are displayed attractively and are fresh and of high quality.
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure that the bakery department is well-stocked and visually appealing.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
