Job Description:

J Singh Construction is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Laborer - Site Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of various tasks related to construction site work.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials as required.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades under the supervision of experienced laborers or foremen.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt according to specifications.
  • Support in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications as instructed by supervisors or engineers.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites when necessary.
Work Environment:

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and heights.

Requirements:
  • No formal education or degree is required; however, relevant work experience and ability to learn quickly are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and bending.
