Geologist Assistant

Lake Shore Gold is a leading mining company seeking talented individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for Geologist Assistants to support our engineering departments at the Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine sites in Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity for students enrolled in mineral/mining engineering programs to gain hands-on experience in the industry. As a Geologist Assistant, you will work closely with our planning, ventilation, and surveying personnel to assist with day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with planning, ventilation, and surveying tasks
• Working in both on-surface and underground environments
• Data entry, filing, and excellent computer skills required

You will be working with industry-leading software such as Deswik, Ventsim, and Microsoft Office. This role requires relocation to the Timmins area, and we offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

To be eligible for this role, you must be currently enrolled in a mineral/mining engineering program. You will also need access to a vehicle or arrange car-pooling as public transportation is not available.
