About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test II to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a key member of our global initiative in building innovative and robust test automation, tooling, and CI/CD systems in a sophisticated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of new features, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Quality Improvement: Be passionate about Quality and strive to improve processes, generate new standards, and drive their usage within the teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with the development team to ensure test coverage and build test plans that help deliver high-quality features, working closely with engineers, product owners, and designers to drive an extremely high-quality bar for our products.
  • Automation and Tooling: Develop and implement standard methodologies for in-house automation, automated testing, end-to-end testing, including device testing and performance testing, maintaining and improving existing Python and Selenium-based automation frameworks.
  • API Development and Maintenance: Author common APIs and libraries for test automation, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
  • Infrastructure and CI/CD: Work with the infrastructure team to create and maintain common services such as CI pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and testing of our products.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • 3+ years or equivalent experience in advanced UI automation for web/mobile applications.
  • Practical experience using development and deployment tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker.
  • Experience with Selenium or Appium.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work quickly, productively, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with React Native.
  • Experience developing or writing test code for a game console.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
