As an IB PYP Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the curriculum and instructional approaches that support our students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB PYP standards and the school's vision.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IB PYP framework, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress regularly, using data to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed.
- Engage with parents and the broader school community, keeping them informed of student progress and involving them in the learning process.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in IB PYP education and sharing expertise with colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, with relevant teaching experience preferably in an IB PYP setting.
- Strong knowledge of the IB PYP framework, inquiry-based learning, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.
