Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machining Tool Operator to join our team at Alpha 1 Cabinets Ltd. as a CNC Machining Operations Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, entering codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, and cleaning and maintaining work space.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machining Operations:
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
  • CNC Programming:
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
  • Workplace Maintenance:
  • Clean and maintain work space
