Farm Hand Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Farm Hand to join our team at McNary Feed Lot Ltd. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm maintenance, animal care, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Monitor animal health and perform livestock feeding
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, farm trucks, and forklifts
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties, including examining product for quality and readiness for market
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organized and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
Working Conditions:
  • Work under pressure in a physically demanding environment

  • Fast-paced environment with a large workload
