Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a cafeteria or restaurant environment, exposed to odours and working under pressure.
