Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2268277 Ontario Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, managing inventory, and coordinating with staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.

Supervise and Train Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. This includes providing guidance and support to staff, conducting performance evaluations, and developing training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies to ensure that all necessary items are available when needed. This includes ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all items are stored and handled properly.

Ensure Quality Control

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes monitoring food preparation and presentation, ensuring that all food is handled and stored properly, and addressing any customer complaints or concerns.

Prepare and Submit Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports to management on a regular basis. This includes providing information on sales, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong understanding of food safety and quality control procedures, as well as the ability to manage inventory and supplies effectively.
