Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Trillium Health Partners. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams, operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures as outlined in the MRI procedure manual.
  • Utilize technical and medical knowledge to evaluate image quality and adjust accordingly.
  • Ensure proper screening procedures for patients and others entering the magnet room.
  • Assess patient conditions prior to, during, and after procedures, and maintain awareness of procedural complications and reactions.
  • Document procedures to ensure precise and accurate records are maintained.

Requirements

  • Completion of MRI Certification Exam required.
  • Contrast injection course required.
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) required.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is an asset.
  • Experience with Siemens MRI is considered an asset.
