At Thomas L Swaine Limited, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on engine repair, 4-wheel drive, electrical and electronic systems, and diagnostics. You will also be responsible for advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements, completing reports to record problems and work performed, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Tools
